Coachbuilder Rear Driveline Spacer | .750" Thick for 10.5" Rear Axle | Fits Toyota Tundra 2007–2021 | Ekstrom Design

$184.00 $202.40

Rear lift stretches more than springs on a 2007–2021 Toyota Tundra. As the axle moves farther from the frame, the rear driveshaft draws outward in its slip yoke and spline engagement shrinks — a problem no carrier bearing kit can touch, because it's about length, not angle. This .750”-thick Coachbuilder Rear Driveline Spacer is the milder of the brand's two corrections: CNC machined from T6 6061 billet aluminum, it bolts between the 10.5” rear axle's flange and the driveline, pushing the driveshaft back into the spline and keeping it from pulling out of the slip yoke. Hardware comes in the box, and the hard black anodize finish is made for a life of mud and road salt.

Features

  • .750” actual thickness — the moderate option in Coachbuilder's driveline spacer line
  • Extends the rear driveline back into the slip yoke spline
  • Eliminates the driveline pulling out of the slip yoke after lifting
  • Engineered to fit perfectly between the axle flange and the driveline
  • CNC machined from T6 6061 billet aluminum
  • Hard black anodize finish; hardware included
  • Fits the 10.5” rear axle on 2007–2021 Toyota Tundras — made in the USA

Handle the angle side of the same lift with a Carrier Bearing Drop Kit for 3”–4” rear lift, and if the lift itself came from shackles, see the +3” Shackle Kit. Need more length correction? The 1.25” Rear Driveline Spacer is the deeper version of this same part — both live in our driveline components collection.

Coachbuilder Rear Driveline Spacer | .750" Thick for 10.5" Rear Axle | Fits Toyota Tundra 2007–2021 | Ekstrom Design FAQs

What does a rear driveline spacer actually do?

It adds length back into the rear driveline. When you lift a 2007-2021 Tundra, the axle sits farther from the frame and the driveshaft draws outward in its slip yoke, reducing spline engagement. This .750" billet spacer bolts between the 10.5" axle flange and the driveline, extending the driveshaft back into the spline so it can't pull out of the slip yoke.

How is this different from the 1.25" version?

Thickness only — both spacers fit the 10.5" rear axle on 2007-2021 Tundras, mount between the axle flange and driveline, and include hardware. The .750" version restores a moderate amount of engagement, while the 1.25" version adds more length for taller setups. Check how far your slip yoke has drawn out before choosing, since Coachbuilder doesn't publish a lift-height chart.

Do I still need a carrier bearing drop kit if I run this spacer?

Often, yes — they solve different problems from the same lift. The spacer restores driveline length so the slip yoke stays engaged, while a carrier bearing drop kit lowers the center bearing to correct driveshaft angles and stop takeoff shudder. Match the carrier bearing kit to your rear lift height (0"-2", 3"-4", or 5"-6") and run both if your truck shows both symptoms.
