Brake Lines & Brake Components

Brake components for lifted vehicles, mainly extended brake lines, brake line brackets and relocation kits, with one rear disc brake conversion kit. Most are from Clayton Off Road and ICON Vehicle Dynamics, covering Jeep Wrangler, Gladiator and Grand Cherokee, Land Cruiser and Ford Super Duty. Match line length to your lift height and confirm front or rear and model year.

What's in Brake Lines & Brake Components

This is a small, focused collection of 26 products. Most are extended brake lines and brake line brackets for lifted vehicles, plus a rear disc brake and ABS conversion kit for the Jeep Wrangler JK. The brands are Clayton Off Road, TeraFlex and ICON Vehicle Dynamics, with single items from Artec Industries and S&B. Fitments are mostly Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator, with Ford Super Duty, Land Cruiser and Tundra.

How to choose

The key choice is length. After a lift, stock brake lines can stretch tight at full droop, so extended lines are matched to the lift height. Titles give the lift, such as 3 inches or 2.5 to 3.5 inches, or a length in inches for Jeep lines. Match that to your setup and not a bigger number.

  • Confirm front or rear, because many lines are position specific.
  • Check the model year range. Jeep JK and JL lines are different, and JL variants such as 4xe differ again.
  • Brackets relocate the line on a taller axle or suspension and are sold separately.

Brake work is safety work. If you are not sure, have a qualified shop install and bleed the system. Pair this with Lift Kits and Brake Line Brackets.

Shipping, lead times and warranty

Stocked items ship in 24 to 48 hours. Some brands build to order, so check current lead times before you plan a weekend around a part. Warranty coverage is decided by the manufacturer, not the shop; the vendor warranty policies page links each brand's terms. You can reach us at (920) 249-7744.

Brake Lines & Brake Components FAQs

Do I need extended brake lines after a lift?

Often, yes. If the lift is more than a small amount, the stock lines can run out of slack at full travel. Most lift kit makers say when longer lines are needed, so check the kit instructions.

What size brake lines do I need for a 3-inch lift?

Look for a line made for that lift height and your vehicle, such as ICON kits listed for specific lift ranges. Always buy a length listed for your lift range.

Are Jeep JK and JL brake lines the same?

No. The listings are split by model, such as JK 2007 to 2018 and JL 2018 and newer, and front and rear are often separate.

What does a brake line bracket do?

It holds the brake line in the right position after the axle or suspension geometry changes. Many are used with a taller lift.

Do I need to bleed the brakes after replacing lines?

Yes. Opening the hydraulic system lets air in, so the brakes must be bled after replacement. If you are not familiar with this, use a qualified shop.
