This TeraFlex hose kit is the link between a TeraFlex Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kit and the hard brake line mounted to the rear axle on a 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ. If you are converting the rear brakes on a TJ, it is one of the supporting parts you need to account for.
Why you need it
TeraFlex states that this kit is required to connect one of its Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kits to the axle-mounted hard line. Without it, the conversion has no proper path for brake fluid from the axle line to the new calipers.
Fitment
Listed for the Jeep Wrangler TJ, 1997-2006. It does not fit the Ford and TeraFlex Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kit (4354400).
Install notes
New, shorter hard brake lines must be installed. TeraFlex notes these are available from most auto parts stores and are not included with the hose kit, so pick them up before the Jeep is on stands. Plan on bleeding the brakes after the lines are changed. TeraFlex part number 4355400.
