What's the difference between axle brackets and frame brackets?
Axle brackets mount to the axle housing; frame brackets mount to the chassis. Together they locate your shocks, control arms, and links, but they live on opposite ends of the suspension. Axle-side brackets take direct wheel impacts and articulation loads, so they're often trussed or gusseted. Do axle mounts need to be welded?
