About Artec Industries

Artec started in 2003 as Artec Welding, a two-car-garage custom shop in Tucson, Arizona, after co-founder Artie Nuttall got hooked on fabrication building his own 1987 4Runner. The Artec Industries name arrived in 2010 along with catalog parts like battery mounts, high steer arms and axle components.

After a few Arizona moves, the shop settled in North Salt Lake, Utah, where it builds most of its catalog in-house. The reputation rests on heavy axle work: trusses, gussets, Dana 60, 1-ton and 9-inch swap kits, plus bellypans, skids and bumpers for Jeep and Toyota.

What we carry from Artec Industries

Our Artec lineup leans toward the parts that keep big-tire rigs pointed straight: axle reinforcements and truss packages, complete axle sets and swap kits, control arms, and track bar brackets.

On the armor side there are skid plates and bellypans, bumpers, aluminum fenders and inner fenders, differential covers, battery mounts, and raw DOM tube and weld-on tabs for your own builds. Most of it fits the Jeep Wrangler (TJ/LJ, JK, JL) and Jeep Gladiator, with parts for XJ/ZJ, 5th-gen 4Runner, Tacoma, Super Duty and Ram axles, and UTVs.

How to choose

Start with the axle, not the vehicle badge. Two Jeeps of the same year can be running very different housings by the time they reach us.

• Confirm your axle model (Dana 30/44/60, Ford 8.8, Sterling, 9-inch) before ordering truss or swap parts.
• Check each listing for bolt-on vs. weld-on. Most trusses and gusset kits need a competent welder.
• Battery mounts are sized by battery group (31, 34, 25/35) or Odyssey model, so match your exact battery.
• Artec's own advice: don't tear the rig apart until every part has arrived.

Lead times & shipping

Artec ships from North Salt Lake and says in-stock orders usually leave in 2–4 business days; backorders, big quantities and complex orders take longer. Anything we have in stock at NVMOS ships in 24–48 hours. Some Artec items ship direct from the brand, so check the product page or call us for a current estimate. All timing is an estimate and shifts with production.

Artec Industries warranty

Artec products carry a limited lifetime warranty against defects in material or workmanship, starting on the delivery date. Misuse, neglect, improper installation and incorrect maintenance aren't covered, and claims start with a phone call to Artec for an RMA number before anything ships back.
