Shock Parts, Tools & Accessories

Service parts and accessories for shocks, mostly for ICON Vehicle Dynamics: replacement shock shafts, rebuild kits, shock oil, spanner wrenches, reservoir upgrade kits, Intelligent Control install kits and shock guards for vehicles such as Tacoma and Lexus GX. Match parts to your shock series and shaft size, such as 2.0 Series, and confirm the vehicle before ordering.

What's in Shock Parts, Tools and Accessories

This is the service side of the suspension catalog, and it is mostly ICON Vehicle Dynamics. You will find replacement shock shafts, rebuild kits, shock oil, spanner wrenches, shaft bullet tools, nitrogen charging tools, reservoir upgrade kits, Intelligent Control install kits and shock guards. Rago Fabrication adds a handful of items.

About two thirds of the parts are universal to a shock series. The rest are tied to vehicles such as the Tacoma, 4Runner, Bronco, Colorado, Super Duty and Lexus GX.

How to choose

Identify the shock first. ICON sorts its shocks into series, such as 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0, and shaft and tool sizes follow those numbers. A rebuild kit or bullet tool for a 2.0 Series shock is not the same as one for a 2.5. Check the series and the shaft size printed in the listing before you order, and confirm the vehicle for any install kit.

Be honest about the job. Seal replacement and an oil change are doable in a shop with the right tools, but charging shocks with nitrogen involves pressurized gas. If you have not done a rebuild before, a qualified suspension shop is a safer bet.

Shipping, lead times and warranty

Parts that are on the shelf ship within 24 to 48 hours. Anything built to order follows the brand's own schedule, which we track on the current lead times page. Each manufacturer sets its own warranty, listed on the vendor warranty policies page. If you would rather talk it through, call (920) 249-7744.

Shock Parts, Tools & Accessories FAQs

How do I know if my ICON shocks need a rebuild?

Common signs are an oil leak around the shaft, a bouncy or floaty ride, or a change in damping at the extremes. A shop can inspect the shocks and tell you whether a rebuild kit or shaft is needed.

What does the 2.0 Series versus 2.5 Series label mean on a rebuild kit?

It refers to the shock body size. Parts are specific to a series, so a kit for a 2.0 Series will not fit a 2.5 Series. Check the series on your shock body or in your paperwork before ordering.

Do I need special tools to rebuild a shock?

Yes. The collection includes seal head spanner wrenches, shaft bullet tools to protect the seals during assembly, and nitrogen charging needles. You also need the right oil and a way to charge the shock correctly.

What is the ICON Intelligent Control install kit?

It is a kit for fitting the ICON Intelligent Control system, and the listing for the 2020-2026 Silverado and Sierra 2500 and 3500 HD names the trucks it fits. Confirm the vehicle and year before you order.

Do shock guards fit all trucks?

No. Shock guards are vehicle-specific, and the collection lists them for models such as the Tacoma and Lexus GX. Check that the model and year match yours.
