How do I know which shock fits my lift height?
Read the lift range in the title and match it to your actual height, not a maximum. A shock built for a taller range may be too long for a small lift. Call (920) 249-7744 if your setup includes a lift from another brand.
What is the difference between internal, piggyback and remote reservoir shocks?
An internal reservoir keeps the gas chamber inside the body of the shock, while piggyback and remote reservoirs move it outside for more fluid capacity. Remote reservoirs connect with a hose and can be mounted away from the shock. Larger reservoirs tend to suit longer or harder use.
Do I need to replace shocks in pairs?
It is smart to replace both sides of an axle together so damping stays matched. Some listings are sold as a pair and some as a single, so check the quantity.
Will new shocks lift my truck?
Not by themselves in most cases. Shocks control motion, while springs, coilovers or spacers set ride height. A shock built for a lift range is sized to suit that height.
Do I need extra parts to install ICON shocks on my truck?
Sometimes. Some applications call for bushing kits, mounts or a solenoid kit, which are listed as separate items. Check the listing and the related shock parts.
