Coachbuilder +3″ Shackle Kit — Toyota Tundra (2007–2021, incl. TRD Pro)
Raise the rear of a 2007–2021 Tundra by 1.75″ of actual lift. This is the size builders reach for when the truck carries real weight all the time — a rear bumper and swing-out, drawers and a fridge, or a spring pack that has settled — and it also buys daylight over the rear tires when you’re sizing up, without committing to a new spring pack. Each shackle is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 billet and hard anodized.
| Spec | Detail |
|---|---|
| Actual rear lift | 1.75″ (from +3″ shackles), measured at the axle |
| Material | 6061-T6 billet aluminum, hard black anodize |
| Bushings | Free-pivot graphite poly |
| Shock compatibility | ADS, Bilstein 5100/5160, Fox, Icon, King, OME, TRD Pro |
| Clearances | OE or aftermarket leaf packs, TRD dual exhaust, full-size spare |
| Install | Bolt-on, 45–60 min (70 ft-lbs shackle / 25 ft-lbs drop kit) |
| In the box | +3″ shackles, poly bushings, hardware, grease, carrier-bearing drop kit, guide |
| Origin | Made in the USA by Ekstrom Design |
| Fitment | Toyota Tundra 2007–2021, including TRD Pro |
How much lift does it add?
1.75 inch of actual rear lift, measured at the axle — Coachbuilder's second-tallest shackle kit.
Who is this size for?
Trucks that carry permanent weight (rear bumper/swing-out, drawers, a fridge) or a settled spring pack, and anyone wanting more clearance for bigger tires.
Does it correct driveline angle?
Yes — it ships with a carrier-bearing drop kit sized for the shackles, which matters at this height.
Does it fit the TRD Pro?
Yes — every 2007-2021 Tundra including TRD Pro, clearing the TRD dual exhaust and full-size spare.
Want more or less height?
The +4" kit (2.25") tops the range; the +2" kit (1.25") is the step below.

Specifications
Coachbuilder +3" Shackle Kit | 1.75" Rear Lift | Fits Toyota Tundra 2007–2021 Including TRD Pro | Ekstrom Design FAQs
Will the +3" kit work with my aftermarket spring pack?
Yes — Coachbuilder builds these to work with your OE leaf springs or any aftermarket leaf pack on a 2007-2021 Toyota Tundra, including TRD Pro. They also play well with the shocks most Tundra builds run: ADS, Bilstein 5100/5160, Fox, Icon, King, OME, and TRD Pro. The TRD dual exhaust clears, and the full-size spare stays in its factory location.
How involved is the install?
Plan on 45-60 minutes. You'll support the frame, let the rear axle droop to unload the leaf packs, slide the OE shackles out, and press the OE rubber bushings out of the spring eyelets — a ball joint press makes that step easy. Grease and tap in the new poly bushings and sleeves, hang the new shackles, then torque the bolts to 70 ft-lbs and the carrier bearing drop kit to 25 ft-lbs with the truck back on the ground.
Should I buy the +2", +3", or +4"?
Measure instead of guessing. On level ground, measure from the center of each wheel opening to the ground, then jack the rear up at the hitch until the stance looks right — at least .750" higher than the front — and measure again. The difference is the lift you need: the +2" gives 1.25", this +3" gives 1.75", and the +4" gives 2.25" of actual lift on 2007-2021 Tundras.
