Coachbuilder +2" Shackle Kit | 1.25" Rear Lift | Fits Toyota Tundra 2007–2021 Including TRD Pro | Ekstrom Design

$315.00 $346.50

Rear sag is the 2007–2021 Toyota Tundra’s tell — load the bed or drop a trailer on the hitch and the tail sits down while the headlights aim high. The Coachbuilder +2" Shackle Kit from Ekstrom Design adds 1.25" of actual rear lift, enough to bring a squatting tail back in line and put composure back into the rear end when the truck is working. The shackles are CNC machined from T6 6061 billet aluminum to replace the flexible factory stampings, fit every 2007–2021 Tundra including TRD Pro, and are made in the USA.

Features

  • 1.25" of actual rear lift from +2" shackles — Coachbuilder rates lift honestly, measured at the axle
  • CNC machined from T6 6061 billet aluminum, finished in hard black anodize
  • Free pivot bushing design keeps the leaf pack cycling smoothly under load
  • Reduces bed bounce and side-to-side flex for a more controlled ride, loaded or empty
  • Carrier bearing drop kit sized for the shackles is included, keeping driveline angles in check
  • Works with OE or any aftermarket leaf pack, the TRD dual exhaust, and the full-size spare
  • Compatible with ADS, Bilstein 5100/5160, Fox, Icon, King, OME, and TRD Pro shocks
  • Installs in 45–60 minutes — shackle bolts torque to 70 ft-lbs, the drop kit to 25 ft-lbs, both on the ground

In the box: a pair of +2" shackles, a graphite poly bushing kit for the rear leaf spring eyelets, hardware, grease packs, the carrier bearing drop kit, and an install guide. Hauling heavier or chasing more height? The Coachbuilder +3" Shackle Kit (1.75" lift) is the next step up. Keep the Shackle Rebuild Kit on your radar for down the road, and see our driveline components and the full Coachbuilder lineup.

Coachbuilder +2" Shackle Kit | 1.25" Rear Lift | Fits Toyota Tundra 2007–2021 Including TRD Pro | Ekstrom Design FAQs

I ordered a +2" shackle — why is the lift only 1.25"?

That's the geometry doing its job. The shackle hangs at an angle and swings as the leaf spring compresses, so added shackle length translates to roughly two-thirds of that in vertical lift at the axle. On a 2007-2021 Tundra the +2" shackle produces 1.25" of actual lift — Coachbuilder publishes the real number so you can size your stance accurately instead of guessing.

How do I know if 1.25" is the right amount of lift for my truck?

Use Coachbuilder's sizing method. Park on a flat, level surface and measure from the center of the front and rear wheel openings to the ground. Then jack the rear up at the tow hitch until you like the stance — or until the rear sits at least .750" higher than the front — and measure again. The difference between the two measurements is exactly how much lift you need; if it lands near 1.25", the +2" kit is your size.

Does the kit include everything, or do I need a carrier bearing drop kit separately?

Everything is in the box for a 2007-2021 Tundra: the +2" shackle pair, graphite poly bushings for the rear leaf spring eyelets, hardware, grease packs, an install guide, and a carrier bearing drop kit sized for the shackles. The drop kit mounts between the frame support and the carrier bearing and torques to 25 ft-lbs with the truck on the ground, keeping the driveline angle happy after the lift.
