Guides for this category

What's in 3–3.5" Lift Kits

This collection collects 173 suspension parts built for roughly 3 to 3.5 inches of lift. Almost all of it is ICON Vehicle Dynamics, with a few from Clayton Off Road. You will find coilover kits, torsion key kits, coil spring kits and conversion systems, listed for Ford Super Duty, Toyota 4Runner, Tundra and Land Cruiser, Lexus GX, F-150 and Raptor, Ranger and Jeep Wrangler.

Many listings are for one axle only, and some cover a range that includes lower lift heights, such as 1.25 to 3 inches.

How to choose

A lift is a package of decisions: front, rear, or both, shocks or coilovers, and what has to change around them. Read the title for the axle and the year range, then check cab, drive type and engine where a kit splits by them.

  • Tire size: the lift gives room for a bigger tire, but you still need to check wheel offset and fender clearance.
  • Front and rear are often separate purchases, so plan both ends together to keep the stance level.
  • A taller lift can call for extended brake lines, longer sway bar links, bump stop changes or an alignment afterward.

For nearby sizes see 0–2" Lift Kits, 2.5" Lift Kits and 4–5" Lift Kits. Matching parts include Coilover Kits, Shock Absorbers and Brake Lines.

3–3.5" Lift Kits FAQs

How much tire can I fit with a 3-inch lift?

It depends on the vehicle, wheel offset and fender trimming. A lift adds room, but you should confirm tire diameter and width with owners of your exact model, then call (920) 249-7744 if you want help.

Do I need to buy front and rear separately?

In many cases yes. Several listings in this collection are front only or rear only, so check the position in the title and add the other end if you need a level result.

Will a 3-inch lift ruin my ride quality?

A well-matched kit can ride as well as stock or better, but results vary with the shocks, springs and how you load the truck. Remote reservoir and adjustable options are listed for drivers who want to tune the ride.

Do I need an alignment after installing a lift kit?

Yes, plan on one. Changing ride height shifts alignment angles, and on some vehicles caster cams or control arms are used to bring it back into range.

Is a leveling kit different from a 3-inch lift?

A leveling kit usually raises the front only, to match the rear. A lift kit raises the vehicle, often at both ends, and can include new shocks or coilovers. See the leveling kits collection for the smaller step.
