Filter wraps earn their keep

A wrap is a sacrificial pre-filter. In silt, sand or heavy mud it catches the coarse material so your primary filter stays open longer between services. Pull the wrap, rinse it, put it back — far easier than a full filter service on the trail.

Clear lids

Function first: a clear lid turns a filter inspection into a glance. Most are sold without hardware, so reuse the fasteners from your factory or existing intake lid.
