Coachbuilder +3" Shackle Kit | 1.75" Rear Lift | Fits Toyota Tundra 2007–2021 Including TRD Pro | Ekstrom Design
The Coachbuilder +3" Shackle Kit raises the rear of 2007–2021 Toyota Tundras — TRD Pro included — by 1.75" of actual lift. This is the size builders reach for when the truck carries real weight all the time: a rear bumper and swing-out, drawers and a fridge, or a spring pack that has settled after years of load. The extra height also buys daylight over the rear tires when you’re sizing up, all without committing to a new spring pack. Each shackle is CNC machined from T6 6061 billet aluminum and hard anodized, replacing the factory parts with something that doesn’t flex sideways.
Features
- 1.75" of actual rear lift from +3" shackles, measured where it counts — at the axle
- CNC machined from T6 6061 billet aluminum with a corrosion-resistant hard black anodize
- Free pivot bushing design supports articulation and extends bushing life
- Tames bed bounce and side-to-side flex under permanent loads
- Ships with a carrier bearing drop kit sized for the shackles to correct driveline angle
- Runs with OE leaf springs or any aftermarket spring pack, TRD dual exhaust compatible, full-size spare stays
- Compatible with ADS, Bilstein 5100/5160, Fox, Icon, King, OME, and TRD Pro shocks
- 45–60 minute install; 70 ft-lbs on shackle bolts and 25 ft-lbs on the drop kit, torqued on the ground — made in the USA
The kit includes the +3" shackle pair, graphite poly bushings for the rear leaf spring eyelets, hardware, grease packs, the carrier bearing drop kit, and instructions. Need maximum height? The Coachbuilder +4" Shackle Kit (2.25" lift) tops the range — and on taller setups it’s worth looking at the Rear Brake/ABS Relocation Kit. If you’re not sure yet, start smaller with the +2" Shackle Kit, or browse all our leaf spring upgrades.

Will the +3" kit work with my aftermarket spring pack?
Yes — Coachbuilder builds these to work with your OE leaf springs or any aftermarket leaf pack on a 2007-2021 Toyota Tundra, including TRD Pro. They also play well with the shocks most Tundra builds run: ADS, Bilstein 5100/5160, Fox, Icon, King, OME, and TRD Pro. The TRD dual exhaust clears, and the full-size spare stays in its factory location.
How involved is the install?
Plan on 45-60 minutes. You'll support the frame, let the rear axle droop to unload the leaf packs, slide the OE shackles out, and press the OE rubber bushings out of the spring eyelets — a ball joint press makes that step easy. Grease and tap in the new poly bushings and sleeves, hang the new shackles, then torque the bolts to 70 ft-lbs and the carrier bearing drop kit to 25 ft-lbs with the truck back on the ground.
Should I buy the +2", +3", or +4"?
Measure instead of guessing. On level ground, measure from the center of each wheel opening to the ground, then jack the rear up at the hitch until the stance looks right — at least .750" higher than the front — and measure again. The difference is the lift you need: the +2" gives 1.25", this +3" gives 1.75", and the +4" gives 2.25" of actual lift on 2007-2021 Tundras.
