The Odyssey PC925 is a favorite compact battery for buggies, race cars, and weight-conscious trail builds, and this Artec Industries tray holds it dead still. Vibration is what kills small AGM batteries — a case that can chatter against a loose clamp will wear through and fail early. Artec CNC-cuts this mount from 10-gauge (.130") cold-roll steel as one piece with no welds, so the battery sits snug in a tray that will not fatigue or crack no matter how rough the road gets.
Features
- One-piece design, CNC-cut and formed from 10-gauge (.130") cold-roll steel
- No welded joints anywhere to fatigue and crack over time
- Snug fit sized to the compact Odyssey PC925 racing battery
- Light 4 lb tray that punches well above its weight
- Four 1/4" bolts with nylock nuts included to secure the battery
- Four 1/4" countersunk holes in the base — bolt it down or weld it in
Verify your battery is a PC925 before ordering, since each Artec tray is cut to one battery footprint. Like the rest of the line it ships in bare steel and needs paint or powder coat before install. For base fasteners, pair it with the 4-bolt battery mounting kit. Stepping up in capacity? The Odyssey PC1200 mount and PC1500 mount cover the bigger cases — see the whole Artec Industries collection here.
Odyssey PC925 Battery Mount FAQs
Which battery is this tray cut for?
The Odyssey PC925, a compact racing battery popular in buggies and weight-sensitive builds. Each Artec battery tray is cut to a single battery footprint, so a PC1200 or PC1500 will not fit this one — matching mounts exist for those sizes.
Can I install it without welding?
Yes. Four 1/4" countersunk holes in the base let you bolt the tray to any flat surface — the Artec 4-bolt battery mounting kit supplies base hardware. Welding it directly in is also an option if you want a permanent, hardware-free install.
What is included and what do I still need?
The tray comes with four 1/4" bolts and nylock nuts to clamp the battery down. You still need base-mounting hardware (or a welder) and a coat of paint or powder coat — the mount ships in bare cold-roll steel and will rust if installed unfinished.
