Running an Odyssey PC1500 — the Group 34/78-equivalent racing battery — in a rig that sees real terrain? This Artec Industries mount keeps it locked down where a stock clamp gives up. The tray is CNC-cut from a single sheet of 10-gauge (.130") cold-roll steel and folded into shape, so there is no welded seam to fatigue and crack. The battery drops into a snug cradle that eliminates the movement that kills AGM batteries early, making it a solid base for relocations and dual-battery builds.

- One-piece folded construction — lighter and tougher than a fabricated box, with zero welds
- Cradle sized to the Odyssey PC1500 (Group 34/78 equivalent) so the battery cannot shift
- Six 1/4" bolts with nylock nuts included to clamp the battery down
- Four 1/4" countersunk holes in the base for a bolt-in install
- Can also be welded directly in place for a permanent mount
Double-check that your battery is a PC1500 — other Odyssey sizes will not seat correctly in this tray. It ships in bare steel, so plan on paint or powder coat before it goes in. Which batteries fit this mount?
It is cut specifically for the Odyssey PC1500, a Group 34/78-equivalent racing battery. Other Odyssey sizes will not seat correctly — Artec makes dedicated trays for the PC925, PC1200, and PC2150, so match the tray to your exact battery model.
Is this a bolt-in or weld-in mount?
Your choice. Four 1/4" countersunk holes in the base accept bolts — base hardware is sold separately in Artec's 4-bolt battery mounting kit — or you can weld the bare-steel tray directly to your chassis for a permanent installation. No professional fabrication is needed for the bolt-in route.
What finish work does it need?
It ships as bare cold-roll steel, so paint or powder coat it before installation to keep rust away. The six 1/4" bolts and nylock nuts that secure the battery are included, so once the tray is coated and mounted the battery clamps straight in.
