Dually Wheels FAQs
What is a dually wheel?
It is a wheel made for a truck with dual rear wheels, which carries two tires per side at the back. The rear pair typically use a different design from the front, which is why inner and outer wheels are listed separately.
Do I need an inner and outer wheel for each rear side?
Yes, on a dual rear wheel truck each rear position carries two wheels. Look at the listing for the position, such as inner or standard.
Will a dually wheel fit my Ford Super Duty or Ram 3500?
These are tagged universal, so fit depends on bolt pattern, center bore and offset. Compare these to your truck's specs, or call (920) 249-7744.
Can I run regular wheels on a dually?
Not on the rear unless the wheel is made for dual use. Rear dual wheels need the right offset and fit to clear each other.
Do dually wheels need special valve stems?
The inner tire often needs a valve extension to reach it. Method's valve extensions are listed for Transit and Sprinter dually rear wheels in our tire accessories collection.
