Artec Industries built this mount to lock the compact Odyssey PC1200 racing battery down for good. Loose batteries chafe through cases and rattle themselves dead on corrugated roads — this tray fits the PC1200 snug so it simply cannot move. The mount is CNC-cut from 10-gauge (.130") cold-roll steel and formed into shape as a single piece, which means no welded seams to fatigue and fail. It suits engine-bay relocations, cargo-area installs, and second-battery additions on race and trail rigs alike.

Make sure your battery is a PC1200 before ordering — all PC1200-series batteries share the same case, so any of them fit. The tray ships bare and needs paint or powder coat to keep rust off. Will this fit my Odyssey battery?
It is cut for the Odyssey PC1200 series, and every PC1200 variant is built on the same case, so any of them drops in snug. Larger or smaller Odyssey batteries need their own Artec tray — the PC925, PC1500, and PC2150 mounts cover those sizes.
Do I have to weld this in?
No. Four 1/4" countersunk holes in the base let you bolt the mount down — Artec's 4-bolt battery mounting kit supplies that hardware. If you prefer a permanent install, the bare-steel tray can be welded directly to your chassis or a fabricated shelf instead.
What do I need to do before installing it?
Coat it. The mount ships in bare cold-roll steel and will rust if it goes in unfinished, so paint or powder coat it first. The four 1/4" bolts and nylock nuts that clamp the battery are included; only base-mounting hardware is separate.
