One tray, two Optima sizes: this Artec Industries mount is cut to hold both the older Group 25 and the newer Group 35 Optima battery, and it clears every terminal configuration those batteries come in. Like the rest of Artec's battery mounts it is CNC-cut from 10-gauge (.130") cold-roll steel as a single formed piece, so the life source of your rig stays put without a welded seam that can fatigue and crack. Pressed-in PEM nuts and a label window round out a tray built for relocations and dual-battery setups.

Confirm your battery is a Group 25 or 35 Optima — the tray is cut to that spiral-cell case and will not suit other groups. It ships bare, so paint or powder coat it before install, and add the 4-bolt battery mounting kit if you are bolting rather than welding. Will it fit my Optima's terminal layout?
Yes. The tray is designed to clear all terminal configurations found on Group 25 and Group 35 Optima batteries, so posts and cable ends stay unobstructed. It fits both the older Group 25 and the newer Group 35 case — one mount covers either battery.
Do the hold-down bolts need nuts behind the tray?
No. Self-clinching PEM nuts are pressed into the mount, so the five included 1/4" bolts thread directly into the tray itself. Nylock nuts are also included. That keeps installation simple even when the back of the mount is inaccessible.
What else do I need to complete the install?
A coating and base hardware. The mount ships in bare cold-roll steel and must be painted or powder coated to prevent rust. To fasten the base to your rig, use Artec's 4-bolt battery mounting kit through the countersunk holes, or weld the tray directly in place.
