Aluminum Rear Track Bar for Toyota 4Runner 2003-2024
Lift a 4Runner and the rear axle slides sideways — the factory track bar geometry pulls the housing off-center, and the flexible stock bar does little to fight it. This Artec Industries rear track bar replaces it with a 1.5" OD link machined from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum, ending in JMX Pro 7/8"-14 tpi rod ends with high-misalignment spacers for precise, bind-free lateral control. Right- and left-hand threads let you set the length on the vehicle, so you can re-center the axle exactly for your lift height. It is built for lifted rigs only, and it works on the 5th-gen 4Runner as well as its solid-rear-axle Toyota and Lexus siblings.

Will this work at stock ride height?
No. It is designed for lifted vehicles only — the adjustment range and geometry assume a suspension lift that has pulled the rear axle off-center. If your rig is at stock height, the factory bar geometry is still correct and this bar is not intended for it.

The 2003+ Toyota 4Runner, 2007+ FJ Cruiser, 2008+ 200-Series Land Cruiser, and 2003+ Lexus GX, all of which share a similar solid-rear-axle layout. Confirm your lift height falls within the bar's adjustment range by measuring how far your axle sits off-center at ride height.
Is an aluminum track bar strong enough?
Yes — 7075-T6 is an aerospace-grade alloy substantially stronger than common 6061, and the bar is a full 1.5" OD. Aluminum also has useful material memory: after a hard hit it tends to return toward straight rather than holding a bend the way mild steel can, all while cutting unsprung weight.
