Rear Track Bar Bracket for Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2018
Lift a Jeep Wrangler JK and the rear track bar geometry goes with it: the factory bracket hangs low, wears, and lets the rear axle wander through corners and whoops. Artec's JK Rear Track Bar Bracket replaces it with a 1/4" formed-steel mount that raises the roll center to suit a 2"+ lift while tucking up higher than the stamped original for real ground clearance. It comes in two versions to match your axle tube — 3.15" for the factory rear Dana 44 or 3.5" for aftermarket and one-ton swap housings.
Features
- 1/4" mild steel, precision CNC cut and formed
- Replaces the worn, low-hanging factory rear track bar bracket
- Raises the roll center to stabilize JKs running 2.0" of lift or more
- Improves ground clearance under the rear axle
- Two variants: 3.15" tube (factory Dana 44) or 3.5" tube (aftermarket / 1-ton swap)
- Weld-on installation; made in the USA
Fits the rear axle of the 2007-2018 Wrangler JK and JKU — measure your axle tube diameter and pick the matching variant before ordering. It is a weld-on part, so mock up your track bar angle at ride height before final welds and paint the bracket afterward. Correct the front end to match with the JK Heavy Duty Raised Track Bar Bracket, tie the rear links together with the JK Rear 3-Link Bracket, and browse the full track bar brackets collection.

Rear Track Bar Bracket for Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2018 FAQs
Which variant do I need for my axle?
Measure your rear axle tube. The factory JK rear Dana 44 uses a 3.15" tube, so choose that variant if you are on the stock axle; aftermarket housings and 1-ton swap axles typically run a 3.5" tube, so pick the 3.5" version for those. Ordering by tube diameter ensures the bracket saddles the tube correctly for welding.
When does a lifted JK need this bracket?
Once you are at 2.0" of lift or more, the factory rear track bar geometry drops the roll center and the rear end can feel loose or wandering. Raising the track bar mount restores the roll center and settles the rear axle. As a bonus, the new bracket tucks up higher than the low-hanging factory piece for better ground clearance.
Is this a bolt-on part?
No — it is a weld-on replacement for the factory rear track bar bracket. Plan on removing the original, mocking up your track bar angle at ride height, and having the bracket welded by someone experienced with axle housings. Paint it after welding to protect the bare steel.
