The Artec Industries JK Rear 3-Link Bracket is the low-profile upper-link mount for a rear 3-link long-arm conversion on the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and JKU. Rock Krawler's X-Factor long-arm system locates the rear upper link with a bulky tube truss that hangs into the space above the diff; this bracket replaces that tube truss, welding to an Artec rear axle truss so the third link stays correctly located while the housing gains real clearance. CNC cut, bent, and boxed from 1/4" steel, it is built for JK owners running or converting to a Rock Krawler-style 3-link who want the geometry without the bulk.
Features
- 1/4" steel, CNC cut and bent, with boxed plate construction for impact resistance
- 2.375" joint mounting width sized for Rock Krawler JK UCA Krawler joints
- Replaces the Rock Krawler tube truss with a low-profile, high-clearance mount
- Engineered for the Rock Krawler X-Factor Long Arm System and other RK 3-link-with-truss kits
- Welds to an Artec JK rear truss for correct third-link placement
- Integrates with the Artec rear JK trackbar bracket for a complete rear-link package
- Made in the USA
Plan the full picture before you weld: the bracket requires an Artec rear truss to deliver its high-clearance geometry, and on one-ton rear housings paired with Artec's Apex-style truss you may need to trim 1-1.5" from the bracket bottom for fit. Welding is required, so leave installation to a capable fabricator and paint the bare steel afterward. Running a one-ton rear under your JK? Rear 3-Link Upper Link Bracket for Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2018 FAQs
Which Jeeps and suspensions does this bracket work with?
It fits the rear axle of 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and JKU models being built as a 3-link long-arm rear suspension. It is engineered around the Rock Krawler X-Factor Long Arm System and other Rock Krawler 3-link kits that use a truss, replacing their bulky tube truss with a low-profile mount. The 2.375" joint width is sized for Rock Krawler JK UCA Krawler joints.
Do I need a truss to use it?
Yes. The bracket is designed to weld to an Artec JK rear truss—that combination is what creates the low-profile, high-clearance upper-link geometry. On one-ton rear housings running an Artec Apex-style truss, plan on possibly trimming 1-1.5" from the bracket bottom for fit. It also works alongside the Artec rear JK trackbar bracket to complete the rear-link package.
Is this a bolt-on part?
No, it is a weld-on bracket, so installation belongs with a capable welder or fabricator. Mock up the upper link and check pinion angle through suspension travel before final welding. The steel ships bare, so paint or powder coat it once the fabrication work is finished.
