Do I need a different kit for CrewMax vs Double Cab?
Yes. The CrewMax and Double Cab have different window lines, so the Shellz kits are cut specifically for each body style. Select your cab configuration when ordering — a CrewMax kit will not line up on a Double Cab and vice versa.
Is this better than vinyl wrap or plasti-dip for a chrome delete?
It is a different approach: rigid ABS overlays that install over the chrome with 3M automotive-grade tape. There is no stretching vinyl around curves, no overspray to mask, and no peeling film later. The factory trim stays untouched underneath, and the panels hold their finish through weather and car washes.
Will the Magnetic Gray Metallic option match my truck exactly?
It is matched to the prime 1G3 color code, but factory paint can vary slightly by build plant and vehicle age, so a perfect match is not guaranteed and returns are not accepted for color-match issues. Dry-fit the trim against your paint before removing the tape backing — if you want a guaranteed match, order Paintable and have a shop spray it to your truck.
