Is this a replacement tailgate panel?
No — it is an applique that installs over your existing tailgate with 3M automotive-grade tape. Nothing is removed or drilled, and the factory panel stays intact underneath. That overlay design is also what lets it hide scratches and wear that are already on the tailgate.
How do I install it and will it stay put?
Installation is a clean-and-stick job: wash and fully degrease the tailgate surface, dry-fit the applique to confirm placement, then press it on firmly.
