Heavy Duty Raised Track Bar Bracket for Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2018
A 2"+ lift on a Jeep Wrangler JK leaves the front track bar angled and the roll center low, and the result is body roll and steering that never feels settled. Artec's Heavy Duty Raised Track Bar Bracket replaces the factory front mount on the Dana 30 or Dana 44 with 1/4" CNC-formed steel that moves the track bar mounting point up, bringing the roll center roughly 3" higher. Along the way it lifts the factory sway bar mount 1.75", frees up room to run the steering damper above the tie rod, and clears terrain better than the low-slung stock bracket.
Features
- 1/4" mild steel, CNC laser cut and formed
- Raises the roll center approximately 3" for lifted-JK stability
- Designed for JKs running 2.0" of lift or more
- Lifts the factory sway bar mount 1.75" to keep end-link geometry in check
- Steering damper can rotate to the top side of the tie rod
- Better ground clearance than the stamped factory bracket
- Weld-on, made in the USA
Fits the front axle of the 2007-2018 Wrangler JK and JKU with either the Dana 30 or Dana 44. It is a weld-on part that replaces the factory bracket outright — plan on cutting, grinding, and experienced welding, then paint the bare steel and confirm the track bar sits close to parallel with the drag link at ride height. Prefer to keep stock geometry? The JK Heavy Duty Stock Track Bar Bracket is the non-raised twin, and the JK Rear Track Bar Bracket corrects the other axle. Compare every option in track bar brackets.

Heavy Duty Raised Track Bar Bracket for Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2018 FAQs
How much lift do I need before choosing the raised version?
This bracket is intended for JKs running 2.0" of lift or more, where the factory track bar angle and roll center have genuinely degraded. At stock or near-stock height, the raised geometry would over-correct — the Heavy Duty Stock Track Bar Bracket is the right pick there. Confirm the track bar ends up near-parallel with your drag link at ride height.
What improvements will I actually feel?
Raising the mount restores a flatter track bar, which recenters the axle and firms up steering feel, while the roughly 3" higher roll center reduces body roll and makes a lifted JK more stable on-road and off-camber. The 1.75" sway bar mount lift keeps the end links happy, and the relocated steering damper stays out of the rocks.
Is it a bolt-on installation?
No. The factory bracket is removed and this one is welded in its place, so plan on cutting, grinding, and welding by someone experienced with axle housings. Mock the geometry up before final welds and paint the bare steel afterward. An alignment check is smart once everything is settled.
