Cut from 1/4" and 3/16" plate and modeled directly off Jeep's factory CAD, it arrives as one pre-welded assembly that bolts into the stock location — a much stronger foundation for the transmission mount, and one that will not fold when the belly meets rock. No. The crossmember ships fully pre-welded as a complete assembly and bolts into the factory location using M12 internal weld nuts. The pressed nuts also mean you can drop it later with a single tool for transmission or transfer-case service.
