1-Ton APEX Rear Axle Swap Brackets for Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2018

$439.99

The JK 1-Ton APEX Rear Axle Swap Brackets put a one-ton rear axle under a Jeep Wrangler JK (2007-2018) without tying you to a single housing. The advanced bracket set works on virtually any axle with a 3.5" tube, and it combines the coil brackets and bumpstop pads into an integrated tube truss that locates your suspension while adding housing rigidity. A coil spring locator machined from solid steel welds to the bracket faster than the old tube-and-cap style. It is the fabricator's choice for a 14 bolt or Sterling swap with room to evolve the suspension later.

Features

  • Precision CNC cut from 1/4" and 3/16" steel and CNC bent for repeatable fitment
  • Coil brackets and bumpstop pads combine into an axle-tube truss, easing placement of the remaining brackets
  • Coil spring locator machined from solid steel welds up faster than tube-and-cap locators
  • Complete set: upper and lower control arm mounts, shock mounts, anti-sway bar mounts, trackbar mount, bumpstop pads, and coil spring mounts
  • Fits a broad range of one-ton axles with a 3.5" (or similar) tube
  • Upgradeable for link geometry later: trim the factory-location upper mounts and add a truss and center link mount (not included)
  • Made in USA

Measure your donor's tube diameter and confirm it is in the 3.5" range before ordering; every bracket welds to the housing, so preheat and alternate passes to keep warp in check. Watching the budget? The JK BASICS Rear Axle Swap Kit gets the same job done with template-located individual brackets. 1-Ton APEX Rear Axle Swap Brackets for Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2018 FAQs

What donors will these brackets handle?

Practically any one-ton rear axle with a 3.5" tube or similar, including the common GM 14 bolt and Ford Sterling 10.5 housings. The set is tube-based rather than casting-specific, so it adapts to many donors. Verify your tube diameter before ordering.

How is this APEX set different from the BASICS kit?

The APEX brackets integrate the coil brackets and bumpstop pads into an axle-tube truss for extra rigidity, and they use a coil spring locator machined from solid steel that welds faster than tube-and-cap designs. The BASICS kit is the more economical route, using individual brackets located with an included template. Both are complete weld-on sets for the JK.

Can I convert to a link suspension later?

Yes — trim off the factory-location upper mounts and weld on a truss and center link mount (sold separately) when you move to link geometry. That upgrade path is designed into the bracket set. As with the initial install, preheat and alternate weld passes to avoid warping the housing.
