Coachbuilder Strut/Coilover Shim | .50" Front Lift | Fits Toyota Tacoma & Land Cruiser 2024+ & 4Runner 2025+ | Ekstrom Design
Toyota's newest trucks still leave the factory with the familiar stance problem: the front driver-side corner usually sits about .50" lower than the passenger side. This Coachbuilder strut/coilover shim adds .50" of lift to the 2024+ Toyota Tacoma, 2024+ Land Cruiser, and 2025+ 4Runner, so a single shim on the driver side squares the truck up without touching coilover preload. It is CNC machined from T6 6061 billet aluminum, hard black anodized, and made in the USA by Ekstrom Design & Fabrication. Want height as well as correction? Run two shims on the driver side and one on the passenger side, or go up to two per side for a full 1.00" of front lift.
Features
- Provides .50" of front lift per shim — 1:2 ratio, .250" actual thickness
- One shim on the driver side corrects the typical .50" factory lean
- Two shims driver side plus one passenger side adds height while keeping the truck level
- Up to two shims per side for a maximum of 1.00" of lift
- Eliminates the need to add preload to the coilover
- CNC machined from T6 6061 billet aluminum, hard black anodized
- Made in the USA by Ekstrom Design & Fabrication Corporation
This version fits the 2024+ Tacoma and Land Cruiser and the 2025+ 4Runner; each listing includes one shim. If you are running ADS, Fox 2.5 Series, Icon 2.5 Series, or King coilovers, add the Coachbuilder Shim Bolt Kit (SAE 3/8"). Earlier trucks are covered too — browse our coil spacers and shims or the full Coachbuilder lineup.
Coachbuilder Strut/Coilover Shim | .50" Front Lift | Fits Toyota Tacoma & Land Cruiser 2024+ & 4Runner 2025+ | Ekstrom Design FAQs
Which vehicles does this shim fit?
This version is machined for Toyota's newest platforms: the 2024+ Tacoma, the 2024+ Land Cruiser, and the 2025+ 4Runner. If you drive a 2005-2023 Tacoma, 4Runner, or FJ Cruiser — or a Tundra — Coachbuilder makes dedicated shims for those trucks, so pick the listing that matches your model years.
How do I fix the driver-side lean on my truck?
These trucks usually sit about .50" lower at the front driver-side corner. Installing one shim on the driver side raises that corner .50" and squares the stance. If you would rather gain height too, run two shims on the driver side and one on the passenger side — up to two shims per side for a maximum of 1.00" of lift.
Do I need the bolt kit?
Only with certain coilovers. ADS, Fox 2.5 Series, Icon 2.5 Series, and King coilovers require the Coachbuilder Shim Bolt Kit (SKU CBSBK), sold separately. The shim itself is a single piece of CNC machined T6 6061 billet aluminum with a hard black anodized finish.
