JK 1 Ton Sterling ABS Kit for Jeep Wrangler (2005+ Super Duty) 60 Tooth

$82.49

Drop a Sterling 10.5" rear axle from a 2005-or-newer Super Duty under a Jeep Wrangler JK and the drivetrain gets stronger while the electronics get angry — the ABS loses its wheel-speed signal and the Jeep starts setting codes and limping. This 60-tooth kit restores order: a CNC machined sensor mount locates the JK's factory sensor on the late-model Sterling housing, and a matched 60-tooth tone ring gives it the target the computer expects. Everything is zinc plated steel engineered from 3D scans of the axle, built for JKs whose factory ABS rings count 60 teeth.

Features

  • Sensor mount machined for the 2005+ Super Duty Sterling 10.5" rear axle
  • 60-tooth tone ring matches JKs with 60-tooth factory ABS rings
  • Feeds the JK computer correct wheel-speed data — codes and limp mode cleared
  • CNC machined steel engineered using 3D scan files
  • Zinc plated for corrosion resistance and consistent sensor feedback
  • Matched mount-and-ring set in one kit
  • Made in the USA

Count the teeth on your JK's original front tone ring before ordering — 52-tooth Jeeps take the 52-tooth version of this kit — and plan on having a groove machined into the Sterling hubs to seat the ring. Early donor axle? The 1999-2004 Super Duty 60-tooth kit fits that housing. The 2005+ Sterling ABS mounting plates and 60-tooth tone ring are also sold individually if you only need part of the picture.

JK 1 Ton Sterling ABS Kit for Jeep Wrangler (2005+ Super Duty) 60 Tooth FAQs

Which donor axles does this kit fit?

The Ford Sterling 10.5" rear axle from 2005-and-newer Super Duty trucks, swapped under a 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK. The 2005+ housing carries its sensor provision in a different spot than the 1999-2004 axle, so match the kit to your donor's year — an early axle takes the 1999-2004 version instead.

What installation work should I plan for?

The main step beyond bolting on the sensor mount is having a machine shop cut a groove in the Sterling hubs so the tone ring seats properly. Owners report the rest of the install is straightforward once the hubs are machined. Budget the machine-shop time into your swap schedule.

Will my ABS work exactly like stock afterward?

With the correct tooth count installed, the JK computer reads real wheel-speed data again, so ABS, traction control, and stability control function and the codes and limp mode clear. If your swap also changed gear ratio or tire size, a tuner that can adjust those values finishes the recalibration for the speedometer and shift behavior.
