1 Ton 14 Bolt 52 Tooth Tone Ring for Jeep Wrangler JK, JL & Gladiator JT
A one-ton GM 14-bolt solves the rear-axle strength problem on a Wrangler JK, JL, or Gladiator JT, but it leaves the factory ABS blind — there is no reluctor on the donor axle for the wheel-speed sensor to read. This Artec Industries 52-tooth tone ring fixes that. Pressed onto the 14-bolt, it gives the relocated factory sensor the 52-tooth signal these platforms' ABS modules look for, so the computer, ABS, and stability control keep doing their jobs instead of pushing the Jeep toward limp mode. The ring is CNC machined from steel, zinc plated, and offered in two inner diameters to fit different 14-bolt hubs. Made in the USA.
Features
- 52-tooth reluctor profile for the factory ABS wheel-speed sensor
- Covers Wrangler JK, JL, and Gladiator JT one-ton 14-bolt swaps whose module reads 52 teeth
- CNC-machined steel construction, zinc plated against corrosion
- Available in 4.55" (SKU BB1401) and 4.375" (SKU BB1404) inner diameters
- Installs as an interference press fit secured with green Loctite
- Restores real wheel-speed data so ABS codes and limp mode go away
- Made in the USA
Verify your ABS module's tooth count first — JK builds that read 60 teeth should run the 60-tooth 14-bolt tone ring — then pick the inner diameter that registers on your hub. The ring only works with a sensor in position to read it, so add the 14-bolt ABS sensor mounts, and budget for a tuner that can set gear ratio and tire size if codes linger. 1 Ton 14 Bolt 52 Tooth Tone Ring for Jeep Wrangler JK, JL & Gladiator JT FAQs
Does this ring fit my JL or Gladiator, or just the JK?
It is intended for Wrangler JK, JL, and Gladiator JT one-ton 14-bolt builds whose ABS module reads a 52-tooth ring. The deciding factor is the module, not the badge — if your Jeep's system expects 60 teeth, run the 60-tooth version instead. Confirm your module's tooth count before ordering.
Which inner diameter do I pick, 4.55" or 4.375"?
The two sizes register on different 14-bolt hub setups, so measure or identify your hub before choosing. The ring must seat concentric and true under the sensor to report accurate wheel speed. It installs as an interference press fit secured with green Loctite.
What else does the ABS conversion need beyond the ring?
A sensor positioned to read it — Artec's 14-bolt ABS sensor mounts locate the factory wheel-speed sensors at the correct distance from the ring. Each ring covers one wheel end and ships in the size ordered. A tuner with access to gear ratio and tire size settings may still be required to clear every code.
