Are these the same plates as the 1999-2004 version?
No — Ford changed the sensor arrangement on the 2005-and-newer Sterling, so each axle generation gets its own plate geometry. These fit the 2005+ Sterling 10.5"; the 1999-2004 housing takes the earlier version. Match the plates to your donor truck's year, not your Jeep's.
Do I need anything besides these plates?
Yes — a tone ring matched to your JK's factory tooth count, either 52 or 60, which is sold separately or bundled in the complete Sterling ABS kit. The plates mount the sensor; the ring gives it something to read. Depending on gearing and tire size, a tuner may round out the electronics side of the swap.
Why does sensor mounting precision matter so much?
The wheel-speed sensor reads the tone ring across a small air gap, and too much gap or misalignment produces a weak, intermittent signal — which reads as random ABS faults. These plates are laser cut and developed from 3D scans of the housing specifically to hold that gap consistently, so the system behaves like factory.
