Aluminum Long Arm Kit for Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JKU 2007-2018
The Artec Aluminum Long Arm Kit swaps the heavy steel links of a long-arm suspension for machined 7075-T6 aerospace-grade aluminum on the 4-door Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JKU (2007-2018). Cutting that much unsprung weight pays off in wear, ride quality, and even fuel mileage, while the oversized link diameters keep the rigidity a long-arm system needs for rock crawling and daily driving alike. Aluminum also never rusts, so the arms stay clean without repainting. Rock Krawler Krawler Joints at every link end allow on-vehicle length adjustment, and the kit ships with a double-adjustable rear upper arm and its frame-side 3-link mount.

The rear links and 3-link geometry are specific to the 4-door JKU wheelbase, so verify you have a 2007-2018 Unlimited before ordering. Will this kit fit a 2-door JK?
Not as a complete kit. The rear links and 3-link geometry are specific to the longer 4-door JKU (2007-2018) wheelbase. The front 3-link portion works on both 2-door and 4-door JKs, but this kit as sold is built for the Unlimited.
What else do I need to finish the long-arm conversion?
The kit supplies the links, Krawler Joints, jam nuts, the Rock Krawler double-adjustable rear upper arm, and its frame-side 3-link mount. To complete a full conversion you also need the JK HD Crossmember with Link Mounts, the JK Front 3-Link Frame Mount Bracket, and an Adjustable Truss Upper Link Mount where applicable — all sold separately. If you already run a Rock Krawler long-arm system, these links replace the steel ones directly.
Do aluminum links hold up to rock crawling?
Yes. The links are machined from 7075-T6 aerospace-grade aluminum at oversized diameters — 2.25" OD on the lowers — and have been proven for years in extreme rock crawling and daily use. The aluminum also never rusts, so there is no paint to maintain.
