Aluminum Mid Arm Kit for Jeep Wrangler JL 2018+
Artec's JL Aluminum Mid Arm Kit is the complete control arm upgrade for the Jeep Wrangler JL and JLU (2018+): four polished 7075-T6 aluminum lower links paired with two RockKrawler solid steel front upper control arms, all riding on rebuildable RockKrawler joints. Factory JL arms are fixed-length, so a lifted Jeep is stuck with whatever caster and pinion angle the lift left behind. These arms thread to length on the vehicle, and the aerospace-grade aluminum lowers cut unsprung weight while shrugging off the corrosion that eats steel links. Artec developed and abused these links in its ARTECON rig for roughly five years before releasing them.

Artec recommends these arms for 3.5"-4" lifts; a 2" lift can work with a slight wheelbase stretch, and they cannot be used with lift systems running control-arm drop brackets. What lift height should I have before running this kit?
Artec recommends 3.5"-4" of lift. The arms can work on a 2" lift, though their slightly longer dimensions may add a small wheelbase stretch. They are not compatible with lift systems that use control-arm drop brackets, such as the Teraflex ST3, so verify your lift design first.
What does the full kit add over the lowers-only version?
On top of the four 2.0" OD 7075-T6 aluminum lower links, the full kit adds two RockKrawler solid steel front upper control arms with their 7/8"-14 tpi joints and jam nut sets. That gives you adjustable geometry at both the lower and front upper positions instead of lowers alone.
How do I set the arms up during install?
Swap one arm at a time: measure the stock arm center-to-center between bushing holes, thread the Artec arm to the same length, install, and torque to factory spec. Verify alignment when all arms are in and re-check every bolt after the first 50 miles. The job needs general mechanical ability; a shop install is fine if you are unsure.
