1-Ton Swap Front Frame Track Bar Bracket for Jeep Wrangler JL & Gladiator JT
Put a one-ton front axle under a Jeep Wrangler JL or Gladiator JT and the wider housing runs straight into the factory frame-side track bar mount. Artec's front frame track bar bracket solves the clearance problem by extending the mount forward of the stock location while keeping most of the factory bracket intact — you trim a portion instead of cutting the whole thing off the frame. It is CNC laser cut and bent from 1/4" steel and modeled from Jeep 3D data, so it contours the frame the way a swap part should.
Features
- CNC laser cut and CNC bent from 1/4" steel for a precise frame fit
- Relocates the frame-side track bar mount forward to clear a one-ton front axle
- Retains most of the factory bracket — trim, don't remove
- Modeled from Jeep 3D data for accurate frame and bracket alignment
- Reinforces a critical mounting point during the conversion
- Weld-on installation; made in the USA
Fits the Jeep Wrangler JL (2018+) and Gladiator JT (2020+) during a one-ton front axle swap, where it is a required piece to keep the track bar geometry usable. This is a weld-on bracket, so plan on professional-quality welding to the frame. Pair it with the axle-side Raised Track Bar Bracket where appropriate, or build the whole front end with the JK/JL/JT 1-Ton APEX Front 9-Inch Swap Kit. More options live in our track bar brackets collection and the Jeep Gladiator catalog.

1-Ton Swap Front Frame Track Bar Bracket for Jeep Wrangler JL & Gladiator JT FAQs
Why do I need this bracket for a one-ton swap?
A one-ton front axle is wider than the factory JL/JT unit, so the stock frame-side track bar mount no longer clears the housing. This bracket extends the mounting point forward of the factory location, keeping the track bar geometry usable with the wider axle. It is considered a required piece for these swaps.
Do I have to cut the entire factory bracket off the frame?
No. The bracket is designed so most of the stock bracket stays in place — you trim a portion of it and weld this piece on. That makes the job cleaner and faster than a full bracket removal and keeps more factory structure on the frame.
Is welding required, and can I do it myself?
Yes, this is a weld-on part that attaches directly to the frame during your one-ton conversion. Because it anchors the track bar, the welds are structural — if you are not confident welding on a frame, have a professional handle the installation. The part arrives ready to fit, trim, and weld.
