Morimoto Bigbanger LED Pods — HXB Spot Beam
This is the longest-reaching pod Morimoto builds in the Banger line. Seven Osram HX Boost chips make 7,000 raw lumens, and the spot optic pushes that to 580,000 Cd on white output — enough to light usable detail out to 800 metres.
The housing is designed in the USA and torture-tested, and the amber back light ring cuts glare on night drives. All figures below are per pod.

How far will these actually light?
Morimoto rates the HXB Spot pattern at up to 800 metres. White output measures 580,000 Cd (5,800 lux at 10m) and yellow measures 400,000 Cd (4,000 lux at 10m).
What is the current draw?
5.55A at 13.5V DC once stabilized and 8.15A at startup, on a 9-18V DC input. Size your harness and fusing for the startup figure, especially if you are running a pair.
Spot or combo?
Spot is the choice for outright distance on open ground. Combo trades some of that reach for wider coverage, which suits tighter trails and lower speeds.
How do they mount?
Universal brackets give versatile mounting options across bumpers, bars and racks. Each pod measures 154mm wide, 136.7mm tall (153.5mm with the bracket) and 76.1mm deep.
