DeckSpan is a flat, structural roof deck panel that turns any crossbar rack into a walkable, gear-ready platform. Each panel is formed from 5mm aluminum and sized at 34 x 19.5 in so it can be mounted, stood on, and tied down without flexing or complaint. It's a universal panel built to standard crossbar and roof-rack patterns, and it's optimized for our DualTrack-T system, so it drops onto a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Ford Transit, or Ram Promaster build alike. Sold as a set of two so you can build exactly the deck you need.

Fitment & Compatibility

Universal fit. DeckSpan mounts to effectively any crossbar rail or roof rack, including 80/20-style extrusions and standard crossbars, which makes it at home on Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Ford Transit, and Ram Promaster builds as well as most aftermarket racks. It is optimized for our DualTrack-T Cross Bar Kit, whose channels are engineered to receive the panels and lock them down from the same system. It also works on our Grenadier DualTrack crossbars.

How many panels do I need?
Measure the rack area you want to deck and divide by the 19.5 in panel width. For a full-width Sprinter deck, plan on three panels per row and add rows front-to-back to reach your length. Each set includes two panels.

Is 5mm aluminum strong enough to stand on?
Yes. At 5mm the panel is thicker than the common 3/16 in (4.76 mm) decking on the market, and the forming adds rigidity so it holds flat and resists bow and bend when you step on it.

What racks does it fit?
It's universal. DeckSpan mounts to 80/20-style extrusions and standard crossbars, fitting Sprinter, Transit, Promaster, and most aftermarket racks. It's optimized for the DualTrack-T system for a clean, repeatable mounting interface.

How do I tie gear down to it?
Slots and L-Track cut-outs run through each panel, giving you ready anchor points for straps, gear, and accessories across the entire deck with no separate hardware to design around.

Can I space the panels around roof equipment?
Yes. Run them edge-to-edge for a continuous walkway, or space them to clear A/C units, fans, solar, and vents while keeping solid footing where you need it.
