Front Frame Coil Buckets (Stock Height, 1-Ton Offset) for Jeep Wrangler TJ 1997-2006
Artec Industries' TJ Front Frame Coil Buckets in the stock-height, 1-ton-offset configuration are the frame-side half of a one-ton front axle swap on a Jeep Wrangler TJ or LJ. A wider one-ton or JL/JT-donor axle moves the coil pads outboard of where the factory TJ buckets sit, so the springs end up leaning instead of loading straight. This pair of weld-on buckets relocates the coil seats to the offset the swap needs while keeping the front end at factory ride height, so the axle sits centered and the coils load squarely. Cut and formed from heavy-duty steel and modeled in 3D from Dana Corp/SPICER and OEM vehicle data, they are built for fabricators doing the swap right rather than shimming around it.
Features
- Sold as a pair of frame-side coil buckets for the TJ/LJ front frame
- Coil seat offset positions a wider one-ton front axle centered under the Jeep
- Stock-height geometry keeps the factory front ride height after the swap
- Heavy-duty steel, laser-cut and press-formed for consistent fit
- Weld-on installation for a permanent, high-strength frame mount
- 3D-engineered from Dana Corp/SPICER and OEM data
- Made in the USA
Fits the Jeep Wrangler TJ (1997-2006) and Unlimited LJ (2004-2006); welding is required, so plan on a fabrication-level install and paint after final weld-out. These buckets handle the frame side only — pair them with axle-side brackets like the JL/JT to TJ APEX front swap brackets, and cover the back of the build with the JT/JL to TJ rear swap kit. Front Frame Coil Buckets (Stock Height, 1-Ton Offset) for Jeep Wrangler TJ 1997-2006 FAQs
Will these keep my TJ at stock ride height?
Yes. This is the stock-height version of Artec's offset coil bucket, so the coil seat sits at the factory height while moving outboard to match a wider one-ton axle. If you want to keep the factory bumpstop arrangement instead, Artec also offers a version of these buckets built around the OEM bumpstops.
Do I need welding skills to install them?
Yes. These are weld-on frame-side buckets, so correct coil-seat placement and quality welds are critical. Plan on a fabrication-level install — if you are not comfortable welding on your frame, have a shop handle it, and paint the bare steel after weld-out.
Is this everything I need for a one-ton front swap?
No — these cover the frame side only. You still need axle-side brackets to locate the control arms, coils, and trackbar on the donor housing, such as Artec's JL/JT to TJ APEX front swap brackets. The buckets fit the Jeep Wrangler TJ (1997-2006) and Unlimited LJ (2004-2006).
