The 1-Ton APEX Front Super Duty Swap Kit carries the peaked-top truss and every bracket needed to put a 2005-and-newer Ford Super Duty front Dana 60 under a Jeep Wrangler JK (2007-2018), Wrangler JL (2018+), or Gladiator JT (2020+). Factory-class front axles give up under 40" tires; the Super 60 brings the knuckles, unit bearings, and shaft strength to take the abuse, and this kit turns a junkyard or aftermarket housing into a Jeep-ready axle. Three upper-link configurations let you match the kit to a retained factory geometry or a custom 3-link.

This kit is specific to the 2005+ Super Duty knuckle and casting — 1999-2004 donors need the earlier version, so verify your axle year first. The truss and brackets weld to a housing that is cast in places; preheat cast sections and weld in stages. You still supply the axle, links, coils, shocks, steering, and gears. Which donor axles and Jeeps does this kit cover?

It is built around the 2005-and-newer Ford Super Duty front Dana 60 and places that axle under the Jeep Wrangler JK (2007-2018), Wrangler JL (2018+), or Gladiator JT (2020+). The castings changed in 2005, so a 1999-2004 donor requires the earlier version of this kit. Verify your axle year before ordering.

What is the difference between the three variants?

They change how the upper link attaches. The adjustable truss upper link mount (single) suits a custom 3-link, while the RockJock Johnny Joint and Daystar bushing versions keep the upper mounts in the factory location. Pick the one that matches your suspension plan — the rest of the kit is the same.

What else do I need to finish the swap?

The kit supplies the truss and mounting brackets only. You still need the Super Duty axle itself, control arms or links, coils, shocks, steering, and gears. Welding is required — preheat the cast sections of the housing and weld in stages to avoid cracking and warp.
