This Artec Aluminum Body Mount Spacer Kit raises the radiator mount and the four rearmost body mounts on a Jeep Wrangler TJ or LJ by 1.25", so the rest of the tub matches the height of Artec's 1.25"-lift Boatside Body Mounts. If you are welding on the lifted boatsides but do not already run a body lift, these CNC-machined 6061 aluminum spacers level the body without buying a complete body lift kit you mostly do not need. Grade 8 hardware is included, and the whole kit is made in the USA.

What does this spacer kit actually do?
It raises the radiator mount and the four rearmost body mounts of a TJ or LJ by 1.25", so those points match the height of Artec's 1.25"-lift Boatside Body Mounts. Without the spacers, the middle of the tub would sit higher than the front and rear mounting points.
Do I need it if I already have a body lift?
No. The kit exists for Jeeps without a body lift — if you already run a 1.25" body lift, your radiator and rear mounts are already raised and the lifted boatside mounts will line up on their own. It fits the Wrangler TJ (1997-2006) and LJ Unlimited (2004-2006).
Is any welding involved?
Not for the spacers — they bolt in with the included Grade 8 hardware using basic hand tools. The boatside body mounts they are designed to accompany are weld-on parts, so plan the welding for that side of the project separately.
