What bracket and joint combination do these fit?
They are made for a 3/4"-bore heim or rod end mounting in a bracket with a 2.625" inside width, secured by a 9/16" bolt. Measure all three dimensions before ordering — if your bracket is narrower, the standard 3/4" spacers at 1.75" installed width are the right call.
Why run wide spacers instead of new brackets?
Because 2.625" is the width of many factory and Artec large-joint brackets, these spacers let a 3/4" joint drop straight in. That means no cutting and rewelding, and if you later upgrade to a 1.25" rod end with 1" spacers, the same brackets still work.
Do high misalignment spacers really add articulation?
Yes. The shaped ends move the pivot outboard of the joint body, so the link swings through a wider arc before the rod end contacts the bracket. On a flexy solid-axle rig that translates directly to more usable travel without binding or bending hardware.
