7/8" High Misalignment Spacers - Stainless Steel (Pair)
Artec Industries' 7/8" high misalignment spacers open up the working angle of a 7/8"-bore heim so heavy steering and suspension links keep moving at full flex instead of binding at the bracket. Machined from stainless steel and sold as a pair, they seat on either side of the ball, step the bore down to a 3/4" mounting bolt, and set the joint to a 2.0" installed width on a 7/8" rod end. If you are running big JMX-series joints on a drag link, tie rod, or panhard, these are the matching hardware.

These are universal components — verify a 7/8" joint bore, 3/4" bolts, and roughly 2.0" of bracket width before ordering; tighter mounts should use the narrow 7/8" spacers at 1.63" instead. They complete the JMX Pro 7/8" rod end, with a 7/8"-14 jam nut locking the link once it's set. Smaller joints and other widths are in steering joint components.

What rod ends and bolts do these work with?
They fit any heim or rod end with a 7/8" bore and pass a 3/4" mounting bolt through the center. Installed on a 7/8" rod end the joint measures 2.0" wide overall, so check your bracket gap against that number before ordering.
Why run high misalignment spacers on steering links?
A heavy drag link or tie rod cycles through big angles as the axle steers and flexes, and a bare heim binds once the bracket touches the joint body. These spacers push the pivot outboard on each side so the ball rotates further before bind, protecting the joint and keeping steering free at full flex.
What if my mounting location is too narrow for 2.0"?
Artec makes a narrow version of this spacer that sets a 7/8" rod end to 1.63" wide with the same 3/4" bolt bore. Use the standard pair wherever the bracket allows and the narrow pair in tight steering locations — the articulation benefit is the same.
