APEX Raised Track Bar Bracket for Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2018
Once a Jeep Wrangler JK carries 2" of lift or more, the factory front track bar geometry drops the roll center and the front end starts to feel top-heavy and vague. The Artec APEX Raised Track Bar Bracket replaces the factory Dana 30 or Dana 44 mount with a 1/4" mild steel unit that moves the track bar mounting point up, raising the roll center roughly 3" for a noticeably more planted lifted JK. Like its stock-height sibling, it is built to integrate with Artec's late-2019-and-newer APEX front truss or to weld straight onto an untrussed housing.
Features
- CNC precision cut and bent from 1/4" mild steel
- Raises the track bar mount to bring the roll center up approximately 3"
- Built for JK/JKU front Dana 30 and Dana 44 axles with 2.0"+ of lift
- Integrates with the Artec APEX front truss (late 2019 onward) or no truss
- Lifts the factory sway bar mount 1.75"
- Allows the steering damper to rotate to the top side of the tie rod
- Multi-piece weld-on assembly with driver-side sway bar tab; made in the USA
Fits 2007-2018 Wrangler JK and JKU front axles and does not fit first-generation Artec trusses made before November 2019. It is a weld-on, bare-steel part — have an experienced welder install it and paint the assembly afterward, and mock up your track bar angle before final welds. Staying near stock height? Use the JK APEX Stock Track Bar Bracket instead. It pairs naturally with the JK APEX Front Axle Truss, and you can compare every option in track bar brackets.

APEX Raised Track Bar Bracket for Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2018 FAQs
How much lift should I have before running the raised bracket?
Artec intends this bracket for JKs running 2.0" of lift or more, where the factory geometry has genuinely fallen off. At or near stock height, the raised mount would over-correct — use the stock-height APEX bracket instead. Confirm your drag link and track bar end up close to parallel at ride height.
What does raising the roll center actually do?
Lifting a JK drops the roll center relative to the vehicle's center of mass, which increases body roll and makes the front end feel vague. This bracket moves the track bar mount up, bringing the roll center approximately 3" higher, which restores stability and steering feel on lifted rigs.
Does it fit my truss and my axle?
It fits JK/JKU front Dana 30 (Sport/Sahara) and Dana 44 (Rubicon) axles, and it integrates with the Artec APEX front truss produced from late 2019 onward — or an axle with no truss. It does not fit first-generation Artec trusses made before November 2019. Installation is weld-on, so plan for an experienced welder.
