Aluminum Rear 3-Link Kit for Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JKU 2007-2018
This kit converts the rear of a 4-door Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JKU (2007-2018) to a proper 3-link running 7075-T6 aerospace-grade aluminum lower links. Steel links on a heavy JKU add unsprung weight and need constant repainting after wet trails; these 2.25" OD aluminum lowers cut that weight dramatically while a Rock Krawler double-adjustable upper arm with 1.0" Krawler Joints locates the axle and lets you dial in pinion angle. It is built for rock crawlers and heavily built JKUs that flex hard and still see street miles.
Features
- Two 2.25" OD lower links machined from 7075-T6 aerospace-grade aluminum
- Rock Krawler double-adjustable rear upper control arm with 1.0" Krawler Joints
- Rock Krawler frame-side 3-link mount included to locate the upper link
- 1.25"-12 tpi Krawler Joints with jam nuts allow length adjustment on the vehicle
- Threaded ends make setting pinion angle and axle centering straightforward
- Aluminum shrugs off rust, so there is no repainting after muddy runs
- Directly replaces the steel links in a Rock Krawler-style rear setup
The rear 3-link geometry is specific to the 4-door JKU wheelbase and is not intended for 2-door JKs, so confirm your body style before ordering. Depending on the build, completing the conversion may also call for the JK HD Crossmember with Link Mounts and an Adjustable Truss Upper Link Mount. Match the front of the Jeep with the Aluminum Front 3-Link Kit, and browse more control arms and link kits for the rest of the suspension.

Aluminum Rear 3-Link Kit for Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JKU 2007-2018 FAQs
Will this rear 3-link kit fit a 2-door JK?
No. The rear 3-link geometry is specific to the 4-door Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JKU (2007-2018) wheelbase and is not intended for the 2-door JK. For the front axle, the companion Aluminum Front 3-Link Kit covers both JK and JKU.
Is this a complete rear suspension?
It is the rear link set — two 2.25" aluminum lowers, a Rock Krawler double-adjustable upper with 1.0" Krawler Joints, joints and jam nuts, and a frame-side 3-link mount. Depending on your build you may also need the JK HD Crossmember with Link Mounts and an Adjustable Truss Upper Link Mount, sold separately, to locate everything.
Are aluminum links strong enough for rock crawling?
Yes. The 2.25" OD 7075-T6 aerospace-grade lowers are built for heavy-duty use in extreme rock crawling and daily driving, delivering comparable strength to steel at much lower weight. They also will not rust, so there is no repainting after wet trails.
