Swapping a GM 14-bolt under the rear of a Jeep Wrangler JK solves the axle-strength problem, but it normally kills the factory ABS and leaves you with drum brakes. This Artec kit fixes both at once: heavy-duty CNC-cut brackets convert the 14-bolt from drums to discs, while press-on tone rings and threaded ABS sensor mounts keep the JK's anti-lock system alive after the swap. Built for the 2007-2018 Wrangler JK running a GM 14-bolt rear axle with a drum-to-disc conversion. Two things to plan for: the press-on tone rings require machining of the 14-bolt hub to seat correctly, and you may need a tuner capable of adjusting gear ratio and tire size so the ABS and speedometer read right. Should I order the 52-tooth or 60-tooth version?

Match the tone ring to your JK's factory ABS reluctor count — the kit is offered in both 52-tooth and 60-tooth versions so either configuration is covered. Verify which count your 2007-2018 JK uses before ordering. Standalone replacement tone rings are also available if you ever need one later.

Do I need to machine anything to install this kit?

Yes. The 1/4" press-on tone rings require machining of the 14-bolt hub so they seat and index correctly. The brake brackets themselves are CNC cut and threaded, but plan on a machine shop visit for the hubs before assembly.

Will my speedometer and ABS read correctly after the swap?

The kit keeps the factory ABS sensors reading off properly spaced tone rings, which is the hard part of a 14-bolt swap. You may still need a tuner capable of adjusting gear ratio and tire size so the ABS and speedometer calibrate to your new setup — budget for one if you changed gears or tire size.
