The Power Pack & Exhaust Skid armors the two components unique to the plug-in-hybrid Wrangler's underbody: the high-voltage power pack and the exhaust routing that snakes through the same congested space. On the JLU 4xe these hybrid parts hang low, cost far more to replace than anything under a gas Jeep, and get only thin stamped shielding from the factory. Artec Industries cuts and forms this skid set from 1/4" 6061-T6 heat-treated aluminum, hangs it on 3/16" zinc-plated steel brackets, and actually gains you ground clearance over the OEM plates in the process. It is the right module for a 4xe owner who wheels the Jeep and wants the hybrid hardware protected without a full bellypan.

What exactly does this skid protect on the 4xe?

Will it fit a gas JL Wrangler?
No. It is built specifically for the 4-door JLU 4xe plug-in hybrid, 2021 and up. Gas Wranglers use different driveline and exhaust routing, so this module only fits the 4xe layout.
