Morimoto 2Banger LED Pods — HXB Wide Beam
The HXB Wide is the 2Banger pattern built to light the ground close to the truck rather than throw it into the distance. Two Osram HX Boost chips make 2,000 raw lumens per pod, spread across a wide beam that complies with SAE regulations.
The pod body is small enough for tight bumper and ditch mounting, and the adjustable brackets make aiming straightforward. Choose white or yellow output; all figures below are per pod.

Are these street legal?
Morimoto states the HXB Wide beam complies with SAE regulations, so it can be run on-road. Aim them correctly and check the rules where you drive.
What is the wide pattern good for?
It illuminates the area close to the vehicle rather than throwing light far ahead, which helps at lower speeds, on tight trails and anywhere you need to see the edges of the road.
How much light does one pod make?
2,000 lumens raw per pod. White output measures 12,700 Cd (127 lux at 10m) and yellow measures 8,400 Cd (84 lux at 10m). All published figures are per pod.
Is installation difficult?
No. The 2Banger is a universal-fitment pod with adjustable mounts and an integrated Deutsch DT 2-pin input, so setup is largely a matter of bracket placement and running power.
