Morimoto 2Banger LED Pods — HXB Flood Beam
The 2Banger is Morimoto's compact pod, sized to fit where a full-size light will not. The HXB tier runs two Osram HX Boost chips for 2,000 raw lumens per pod, and the Flood optic spreads that output close and wide rather than throwing it down the trail.
That makes it the pattern for low-speed work: rock crawling, backing a trailer, lighting a campground. Available in white or yellow output, and every figure below is per pod.

What is the flood beam actually for?
Close-range work. The HXB Flood pattern spreads light wide and near the vehicle, which suits low-speed driving, rock crawling and lighting a campground. If you want distance, choose the spot or combo pattern instead.
How much light does one pod make?
Each pod produces 2,000 lumens raw from 2x Osram HX Boost chips. White output measures 900 Cd (9 lux at 10m) and yellow measures 625 Cd (6.25 lux at 10m). All published figures are per pod.
What does it draw and how does it wire in?
24.0W stabilized, 1.78A at 13.5V DC per pod, through an integrated Deutsch DT 2-pin input. Morimoto supplies an enhanced wire harness built from premium components.
Will it hold up to weather and trail abuse?
The pod is IP69K rated against dust and high-pressure water, with a copper DTP PCB, a powdercoated die-cast aluminum housing and a Makrolon polycarbonate lens.
