Daystar Bushing Replacement for Artec UCA Mounts
This Daystar polyurethane bushing replacement kit refreshes the upper control arm bushings in Artec Industries truss and axle-swap setups. Poly bushings are wear items — when the UCA joints in your Artec mounts get sloppy or start squeaking, this kit restores a tight, quiet pivot without replacing the truss or bracket. Each kit covers one axle: driver and passenger side bushings plus the inner sleeves, in three variants matching Artec's different front swap configurations.
Features
- Genuine Daystar polyurethane bushings for Artec UCA mounts
- Driver and passenger side bushings in every kit
- Inner sleeves included — a complete refresh, not just pads
- Three variants cover Artec's truss and swap-kit configurations
- Restores control arm feel without buying new brackets
- Made in the USA
Fitment follows your Artec hardware, not just your Jeep: TJ3009 fits TJ, LJ, XJ, MJ, and ZJ 1-ton swap fronts with 2" upper joints; JK3004 fits JK and JKU swap fronts with 2" upper joints; TJ3004 fits the TJ-family setup with the cast pumpkin-mounted bushing. Identify which Artec truss or swap kit you run before ordering. For a cartridge-joint alternative see the Johnny Joints for UCA brackets or the Daystar bushing for UCA brackets, and find weld-in pivots like the 2" bushing kit in the bushings collection.
Daystar Bushing Replacement for Artec UCA Mounts FAQs
How do I choose the right variant?
Go by your Artec setup. TJ3009 fits TJ, LJ, XJ, MJ, and ZJ 1-ton swap fronts with 2" upper joints; JK3004 fits JK and JKU swap fronts with 2" upper joints; TJ3004 fits the TJ-family configuration that uses the cast pumpkin-mounted bushing. If you are unsure, check which Artec truss or swap kit was installed on your axle.
What comes in the kit?
Driver and passenger side Daystar polyurethane bushings plus the inner sleeves — everything needed to refresh one upper control arm pair in your existing Artec mounts. The brackets and truss stay on the rig.
How do I install the new bushings?
Plan on pressing the old bushings out of the Artec UCA mounts and pressing the new poly and sleeves in. A shop press or a suitable bushing driver makes it straightforward; grease the poly on assembly so the fresh joint stays quiet.
