Artec Industries Truss Upper Link Mounts are weld-on 1/4" steel brackets that turn the flat top of an axle truss into upper link mounting points for a 3-link or 4-link suspension. Each mount ships as four CNC laser-cut, CNC-bent pieces that assemble with a jig, and the bent design is self-reinforcing — no extra bracing tabs needed. Bolt holes at 7", 8", and 9" from the axle centerline let you pick your link height, and the 9/16" joint hole can be drilled out to 1" for larger rod ends. Available as a single or a pair.
Features
- CNC laser cut and CNC bent from 1/4" steel, made in the USA
- 2.625" joint mounting width sized for large heims and bushing joints
- 9/16" bolt hole, drillable up to 1" for bigger joint hardware
- Three hole positions — 7", 8", and 9" from the axle centerline
- Bent construction is self-strengthening with no add-on gussets required
- Four unwelded pieces assemble easily with a jig before welding down
- Works with 3.0" and 3.5" axle tube truss installations
These are universal fabrication brackets: you position them on a flat truss deck for your link geometry, then weld them in place, so plan your link angles before striking an arc. They pair directly with Artec full-width trusses like the Chevy 60 Front Truss, 60 Rear Truss, and 14 bolt Rear Truss SRW — see all axle reinforcements for the matching truss for your housing.
Truss Upper Link Mounts FAQs
What joints and hardware do these accept?
The mounts have a 2.625" joint mounting width sized for large heims and bushing-style link joints, with a 9/16" bolt hole that can be drilled out to 1" for bigger hardware. Bolt positions sit at 7", 8", and 9" from the axle centerline so you can set link height to suit your geometry.
Do they come assembled?
No — each mount arrives as four unwelded, CNC-cut pieces that assemble easily with a jig. The bent design strengthens the mount so no additional bracing tabs are needed. Once assembled and positioned on your truss for the link geometry you want, you weld the mount down permanently.
Which trusses do they work with?
Any flat-topped axle truss, and they are made to match Artec's full-width trusses on 3.0" and 3.5" axle tubes — front and rear Dana 60 trusses, the 14-bolt trusses, and similar. Buy a single mount for a 3-link upper or a pair for a 4-link.
