The Artec Lower Link Axle Brackets are the axle-side foundation for the lower bars of a custom 3-link or 4-link. Each boxed 1/4" steel bracket is contoured to cradle a 3.0" or 3.5" diameter axle tube, and the 0, 10, and 22 degree angle options let you set your lower-link path off the shelf instead of cutting and re-tacking generic tabs until the geometry works. The 2.625" mounting width and 9/16" bolt hole take common cartridge joints, a top-access grease port keeps the joint serviceable, and an integrated skid plate takes the rock hits so the joint doesn't.

These are universal fabrication brackets, not a vehicle-specific bolt-on — measure your tube diameter and mock up your link angles before choosing between the 0, 10, and 22 degree versions. Welding is required, and the bare steel should get self-etching primer and paint after install. Building a one-ton? The Dana 60 Lower Link Axle Brackets cover larger short-tube housings. Set the upper side with the Adjustable Link Tower, and find more fabrication pieces in axle reinforcements and the full Artec Industries lineup.
Lower Link Axle Brackets (Pair) FAQs
How do I pick the right angle and size?
Measure your axle tube first — the brackets come contoured for 3.0" or 3.5" diameters. Then mock up your lower-link path: the 0, 10, and 22 degree versions angle the joint relative to square so the link exits cleanly toward your frame bracket. Most triangulated lowers land in the 10 or 22 degree range, but your chassis mockup should make the call.
What joints fit these brackets?
The 2.625" mounting width and 9/16" bolt hole accept common cartridge-style joints such as the Johnny Joint, Flex, and Ballistic designs. For 1.25" rod ends, drill the hole out and run high-misalignment spacers. A top-access port keeps the grease fitting reachable once everything is welded.
Are these vehicle-specific or universal?
Universal — they are weld-on fabrication brackets for any axle with 3.0" or 3.5" tubes, common on custom TJ, buggy, and swap builds. Welding is required, and they ship as bare steel, so plan on self-etching primer and paint. For big one-ton housings with short tubes, Artec's Dana 60 version covers 3.125-3.75" tubes.
