ABS Sensor Mounts for GM 14 Bolt Rear Axle (Pair)

$36.29

Swap a GM 14-bolt under the rear of a late-model Jeep and the factory wheel-speed sensors lose their home, so the computer starts throwing ABS faults and can drop the rig into limp mode. These Artec Industries ABS sensor mounts give those factory sensors a proper perch on the 14-bolt housing, holding each one at the correct read distance from the tone ring so the ECU sees real wheel-speed data and ABS and stability control stay in the game. They are laser cut for repeatable spacing, zinc plated against corrosion, and sold as a pair to cover the driver and passenger sides. Built in the USA for Wrangler JK, JL, and Gladiator JT one-ton builds that keep the factory ABS system.

Features

  • Relocates the factory ABS wheel-speed sensors onto a GM 14-bolt rear axle
  • Laser-cut steel puts each sensor at a precise, repeatable distance from the tone ring
  • Zinc-plated finish resists rust from mud, snow, and road salt
  • Restores the wheel-speed signal the Jeep's computer expects, helping clear ABS codes and limp mode
  • Engineered to work with Artec's 52- and 60-tooth 14-bolt tone rings and factory-disc ABS conversion parts
  • Sold as a pair covering driver and passenger sides (SKU BB1411)
  • Made in the USA

The sensors have nothing to read without a matching reluctor, so pair these mounts with the 60-tooth 14-bolt tone ring or the 52-tooth 14-bolt tone ring, matched to what your Jeep's ABS module expects. A tuner with access to gear ratio and tire size settings may still be needed to fully clear codes. Browse the rest of our axle reinforcement parts or the full Artec Industries lineup to round out the swap.

ABS Sensor Mounts for GM 14 Bolt Rear Axle (Pair) FAQs

What builds are these sensor mounts for?

They are for Jeep Wrangler JK, JL, and Gladiator JT one-ton builds that put a GM 14-bolt rear axle under the vehicle while keeping the factory ABS system. The mounts hold the stock wheel-speed sensors at the correct read distance on the 14-bolt housing. They are not vehicle-year restricted on their own — fitment follows the axle and the factory sensors.

Do I need anything else for the ABS to work?

Yes. Each sensor needs a matching tone ring pressed onto the axle — choose Artec's 52-tooth or 60-tooth 14-bolt ring based on what your Jeep's ABS module expects. A tuner with access to gear ratio and tire size settings may also be required to fully clear codes after the swap.

Will these actually stop my ABS codes and limp mode?

Positioning the factory sensors correctly restores the wheel-speed signal the computer is looking for, which addresses the ABS faults and limp mode caused by an unread or mis-spaced sensor. The mounts are laser cut so the spacing is repeatable side to side. Some builds still need a tune to correct gear ratio and tire size before every code clears.
