What is the difference between Series 2 and Series 4?
The Series 2 is a 20W pod with 2,000 raw lumens, while the Series 4 is a 40W pod with 4,000 raw lumens and slightly longer projection. Both use the same OSRAM chips, IP69K sealing, and 5-year warranty.
How far do they project?
Both are focused spot beams. The 20W projects about 988 feet and the 40W over 1,049 feet, roughly 1,000+ feet of usable throw.
Can I mount them upside down?
Yes. The beam pattern is horizontally symmetrical, so the pods can be mounted upside down or right side up without changing the beam angle.
Can I change the light color?
Yes. Optional interchangeable VEGA snap-fit lens covers add or remove without tools to switch output to Amber or Yellow for fog and snow. A black-out cover is included with each light.
How are they wired?
Each pod uses an OE-level Deutsch DT 2-pin connector with an included 24-inch whip. An optional Deutsch DT relay harness with switch is available for a complete install.
